QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE
-
No. I don’t use AI to create my artwork or designs.
ONLY EXCEPTION: I do use Adobe’s AI-generative tools to clean logo JPG’S provided by clients that are low-resolution when clients do not have the source file. I then manually recreate the logo using the clean image to create the illustrator file needed for the project.
-
I review requests on a case-by-case basis. Generally, I try not to encourage the use of AI-generated images. However, I understand that budget and/or subject matter constraints may sometimes make AI-generated imagery the only practical option, and I may consider using client-provided AI images in those situations.
-
I review projects involving AI-generated concepts on a case-by-case basis. AI-generated designs are not necessarily original, and I have often found that concepts presented as “new” can closely resemble existing work found online.
There is also a creative challenge when a client has already generated something they like, as they may become attached to that specific result, leaving less room for my own creativity to be expressed.
For these reasons, I most likely will not take on projects that begin with an AI-generated concept, however there is always an exception to the rule.
-
I charge $85 an hour for any and all design work. Except BMP creation for socks is billable at $65 an hour.
Under very specific circumstances, I will consider a flat rate proposal. However, I’ve found that hourly billing is the fairest arrangement for both parties. Clients only pay for the time actually used and I’m compensated for the work I actually complete.

Please reach out with your inquiry if you’d like to hire me. I’ll respond within 48 hours to set up a meeting or get any additional information I need about your project.
Initial meetings with potential clients are an opportunity to make sure we’re a good match in terms of communication style, deliverables, deadlines, and general expectations. If everything aligns, I’ll outline the next steps, expected timeline, and any assets I’ll need from you to get started.
Turnaround time varies depending on the size and complexity of the project.
POLICIES AND EXPECTATIONS
-
The initial meeting with a potential client is complimentary. Any subsequent video meetings or onsite visits are billed hourly. Email and text communication are included at no additional charge.
-
Ongoing projects are billed on the 1st of each month with Net15 payment terms noted on the top of the invoice. If a project is completed before the 1st of the month, the remaining balance will be invoiced following completion.
Extended Payment Terms: If your billing department has established payment terms that differ from Net 15, I require written confirmation either by email or in our agreed Terms & Conditions contract. Extended payment terms beyond Net 15 are only available to mid-size and large companies with established billing and payment processes. I do not extend these terms to individual clients or small businesses.
***NET refers to how much time after the invoice has been sent to make payment.
Payments can be made through ACH Direct Deposit, Mailed/ In-person Check, Zelle, Venmo, Paypal and Apple Pay. You will be asked upon the first invoice what your preferred payment is.

During an active project, I respond to client communication within 24 hours. If anything arises that may affect an agreed-upon deadline, I will notify you as soon as I am aware via email.
I try my best to keep open transparent communication during projects.
-
If a project is cancelled or placed on hold due to unforeseen circumstances, all work completed through that point remains billable.
-
Final deliverables include applicable production files, artwork files, project assets, and typefaces when applicable.
-
AI-generated feedback is not accepted. If I knowingly receive feedback generated by AI during a project, the project will be terminated. Work completed through the date of termination will remain billable, and applicable project files will be provided.
