Pistakio brought me on for a holiday merch under a tight timeline. Working across packaging and product design, I delivered a full suite of holiday merch including the Soft Spread fuzzy socks with custom band packaging and the Mini Duo gift set box, all within days of brief.
SOFT SPREAD SOCK MERCH
Met with a rush job and a three week holiday production deadline, I designed the Pistakio fuzzy sock end to end in three days, including the sock design, storytelling copy, and sock band packaging. Three design options were presented within the turnaround window before landing on the final. The sock was inspired by Pistakio's spreadable pistachio spread, translating the product's color and texture into a wearable limited edition piece aptly named the Soft Spread Socks. A Bay Area vendor was sourced to handle knit production and meet the compressed holiday timeline.
MINI DUO GIFT SET
Designed in two days for the holiday season, the Mini Duo Gift Set packaging houses both the crunchy and creamy pistachio spreads in a single gift ready box. Display windows were incorporated with border treatments reflecting each product's texture, crunchy and smooth, giving the packaging a tactile storytelling quality. All storytelling copy was written as part of the design, and core brand illustrations from the existing guide were utilized throughout to keep the design consistent with the broader Pistakio identity.
